School Rebuild
In the Thar district of northern Pakistan, massive flooding in 2010 claimed many lives and destroyed much of the desert region. The devastation orphaned hundreds of children. We saw them everywhere, these kids who'd lost their parents, their home, everything. Desperate to help, we worked with local officials to learn where best our resources would make the most impact. We learned others were providing the basics—food, clothing, water, a hospital. So, we chose to rebuild the schools, an all-girls school. Right now, in this way, we can provide structure for these girls, help them continue with their education which will make a life-long, positive impact on them, their families and their community.
